After a few hours of farming it dropped for me ..

so how much would this go for?

im very tempted to make a leet caster weapon of it for my monk, but im not sure yet.

A few additions to the map provided by Ulivious...

There are 3 corsairs somewhere near the red X.

Someone might not have noticed the little pop-up island in the northwestern corner. There are a few bodies on that island and when you walk around there some Corsairs will magically pop-up

im using a 55 necro and doesnt matter what I do the corsairs always kill me with the degen. What must I be doing wrong?

you need mystic regeneration to counter the massive degen, healing breeze alone is not enough to stop it, ive tried a couple time using a necro, never succefully finished a run :P i'll stick to my monk

and finally i got my collosal req 13 but thast not too bad!!!!!

I agree they do look awesome. After a couple of days a Req.12 +5 energy Scimitar dropped. I had a black dye left so used it and, yes, I agree that they look awesome. Kept it for my monk after adding a +30hp to it. BLING!

I saw a perfect C Scimitar r9, 15%^50/33% deep wound/+30 Health for 100k and 40ectos. I was like "OMFG HOW IN THE HELL AM I GONNA GET THAT MUCH CASH?!" cause atm I have around 30k to my name...and thats from all my characters. Oh and I started a RT last night cause you can't farm crap with paragons...(gonna beat factions and then bring over the RT to nightfall)

So we leave from The Asterian or something like that and just follow that path? how many times did you have to run the course to get a Colossal?

Farming for a certain skin is like fishing. You never know when it's gonna bite, or if it's going to be a keeper.

Killing those extra corsairs takes away the numbness of the mind running those same 12 corsairs right out the gate

Leave Astralarium into Jehlon, follow the little path along a bit avoiding the termits+lance in the little recess then head south into the little valley-type-thing. There will be two more termits and either a Grub Lance or Preying Lance (depending on spawn). Just go past them and there will be a good amount of Corsairs in there to kill. If you don't get a Colossal Scimitar there is always the other quite nice golds that drop a lot to keep you interested.

As for how many times do you have to run it to get a Colossal.......tbh I lost count before I had one drop but like I said, there is always the other nice golds with some nice mods on them. Tattooed Scimitars also drop as do Spiked Clubs which are both very nice. As for money drops I think you get about 1k(ish) per run after selling stuff to merchant so if that's what you're after then I'd look else where.

as i got the build to farm zehnlon, i did 5 runs to get my req 11 colossal scimitar

. but after 3 hours continued farming, they dont wanna drop it again

So wait.... which primary is best for farming these fetchers again?

And by that... I mean what primary class has the least risk of failure?
I've got a Necro primary that I'm teaching to 55-farm, but I have to deal with both unfamiliarity (with 55ing), with laggy skill activation delay... and with only a 19% Enchant Sword (don't have any 20% ones, but I have two 19% ones).
